MooJoos Oatmeal Stout blends the body and sweetness of a milk stout with the satin mouth feel of a classic oatmeal stout. Together, they contribute the subtle complexities, that build a unique, yet extremely drinkable dark ale. Both toasted and flaked oats are milled with a variety of roasted malts to give MooJoos its signature color and head. In addition, several pounds of locally-sourced milk sugar are added to create a residual creamy-sweet, chocolate punch. A traditional old-world British ale yeast leaves us with plenty of dark fruit, yet allows the dark chocolate and coffee notes to prevail.
